A beautiful, underdeveloped, and landlocked country. Lao (or Laos as known by most Westerners) is quickly becoming one of Southeast Asia's fastest growing economies due to the sales of its hydroelectricity, tourism, and natural resources. The Lao people are laid back and very hospitable to foreigners. I highly recommend visiting Lao if you are into going to places that are not yet littered with tourist traps. The same cannot be said about its neighbors.
Seattle far exceeded my expectations of how gorgeous this city was going to be like. In the distance you could see the Cascade Mountains still capped with fresh snow. The city itself has a blend of a slow paced Midwestern town but still has a little bit of a hustle and bustle feeling of a major city.
"The Big Apple". "The City that Never Sleeps". "The Empire City". Call it what you like but there's no other place I'd rather be than New York City. With more than eight million people combined within the five boroughs which consists of Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island there's no wonder why this place has so much culture. It's for sure that if you can make it in New York City then you can make it anywhere.
